OUR RIDE

I'm Tim (that's me in the picture), founder of Bikeable. I set up Bikeable after a long period of soul searching. I wanted to create something that made positive social and environmental impact whilst allowing everyone to embrace their inner child and just have some fun!

But why bikes? Well, during a stay in a hotel I asked if they had their own branded bikes - I wanted to get out, enjoy the fresh air and actually spend some time seeing the city. As you can probably guess, The answer was, "unfortunately not". I just couldn't understand why they didn't have their own private bike share. It turns out it was all the extra work that put hotels off; high initial costs, servicing bikes, liability, booking management, branding. To get my hotel bike, I realised that I had to provide a service that solved all of this. 6 months later, Bikeable set out for its first ride.
